Kitten Tale
During the week of September 17th-21st, our second grade students celebrated our Constitution. They learned about the importance of the Constitution and the meaning of the American flag. To learn the meaning, each child recreated the flag using popsicle sticks. The students painted thirteen popsicle sticks red and white to symbolize the original thirteen colonies. Then they colored around 50 white stars, which represents our fifty states. The students not only learned about the Constitution and our flag, but learned the history on how we became the United States of America.
