Walt
Lemoine, principal
Native of St.Francisville, LA, Mr.
Lemoine earned his BS degree from Nicholls State University and his Masters
from Southern. He came to Brusly High School in 1988 and
taught social studies and PE and coached basketball along with
football, baseball, and girls track along the way. He is married to
the former Gina Alleman and they have 2 children, Annie Beth and
Walt Jr., both graduates of BHS. This is Coach Lemoine's 7th year as
principal of Brusly High School.
Julie
Mayeux, assistant principal
This is Ms. Mayeux's 23rd year at
Brusly High School, and her 2nd as assistant principal. She
received her BS in Education from LSU, and her Master's Degree from
Southern. In addition to her duties as AP, Ms. Mayeux serves
as the school's Athletic Director. She's been coaching for
over 20 years, and during that time won 8 district championships, 2
state championships, and was named State Coach of the Year 4
times!!!
Faye Davis, assistant principal
Ms. Davis has been at Brusly High
School for 28 years, and this is her 10th year as assistant
principal. She received her Bachelor's degree from LSU, and
her Master's plus 30 from Southern. She is certified to teach
Speech and English, and is certified as both a Reading Specialist
and a counselor. She was named WBR Teacher of the Year in
1989. She is married to Ronnie Davis.
