LEAP PEP Rally and Fun Day
Mr. Comeau and Ms. Landry's 4th grade classes working on the Learn, Serve America Grant provided to Cohn by the Corporation for National Service and the Louisiana Lt. Governor's Office.
Mr. Pete Perrin from Louisiana Nursery is working with 4th grade students discussing plants, plant parts, and plant reproduction. Mr. Perrin is also helping the 4th graders with planting twelve large terracotta clay pots with palms, petunias and ivy. These pots are the first step of four in a school-wide beautification effort by Mr. Comeau and his $7,500 Learn Serve America Grant.

All students were invited into the cafeteria around 1:00 PM. Those students not receiving any C-14s or bus referrals for the fall semester were placed into a drawing.
Purchased by the PAWS Leadership Team, the prize was a brand new bicycle, helmet, knee and elbow pads, and lock. Over 170 students were eligible. The winner was Ma’kalya J. from Ms. Roshto’s second grade class! Mrs. Wendy LeBlanc picked the winner!
