    WBR Schools are proud to offer WBR Schools are proud to offer high school graduation pathways as part of the WBR Health Sciences Academy. These career pathways offer students preparation for employment in the ever-growing healthcare industry.

     

    Emergency Medical Responder Pathway: The Emergency Medical Responder pathway prepares students for careers in emergency medical response, emergency management, and for careers as medical technicians. In addition to core classes, this pathway includes electives in First Responder, Human Body, Sports Medicine, and Nutrition. Students graduating with a Jump Start TOPS Tech diploma also exit with certification in CPR and as Emergency Medical Responder. Students graduating with a TOPS University high school diploma may also exit with dual enrollment college credit or Advanced Placement college credit when completing eligible courses with qualifying scores.

    Food Safety, Wellness, & Nutrition Pathway: The Food Safety, Wellness, and Nutrition Pathway prepares students for a variety of careers surrounding food preparation and safety management, while also providing students with critical skills useful in the hospitality and food service management industries. Students graduating with a Jump Start TOPS Tech Diploma also exit with certification in ServSafe, issued by the National Restaurant Association, as well as Customer Service certification, Microsoft Office certification, and First Responder Certification. Students graduating with a TOPS University high school diploma may also exit with dual enrollment college credit or Advanced Placement college credit when completing eligible courses with qualifying scores.

    Patient Care Technician Pathway: The Patient Care Tech pathway prepares students for careers in patient care. In addition to core classes, this pathway includes electives in Patient Care, First Responder, Sports Medicine, Human Body, and Nutrition. Students graduating with a Jump Start TOPS Tech diploma also exit with certification in Patient Care Tech, CPR, and Emergency Medical Responder. Students graduating with a TOPS University high school diploma may also exit with dual enrollment college credit or Advanced Placement college credit when completing eligible courses with qualifying scores. Enrolling in May 2017.
