Dr. Kellie Green

 

Our Teacher of the month is Dr. Kellie Green

She always has a smile on her face! I love how Dr. Green uses project based learning for her students. She even went a step further by including the entire school in her Environmental Science Recycling project. She really has a passion for her students and PAHS. Go Dr. Green!! She is awesome and gives her all every day. Dr. Green is such a hard-working teacher who truly wants to see her students reach their full potential. She always remains positive and tries to find solutions instead of dwelling on problems. She is one of the most genuine, sincerest people I have had the pleasure to work with at PAHS. She's an amazingly hard worker who always strives to put her best foot forward!

    Mrs. Smith...

    Love talking to her. It's been a joy to have Mrs. Smith as the Math Department Chair. She is always so helpful when I have a question and provides me with the feedback I need so that I may become a better teacher.

    Mrs. Stewart
     
    -You can go to her for help and she willingly assists with a smile.
    -Mrs. Stewart is an amazing co-worker and a joy to work with
    -Mrs. Stewart does a great job supporting other teachers at the school in any way that she possibly can. Always have a smile on her face wishing you a hello and wishing a great day. Organized the JAG program and have taken it to another level. Kids look sharp; she builds their self-esteem. By the way, what a great JAG Thanksgiving meal she coordinated.
    -Mrs. Stewart is extremely dedicated to her students and she is always willing and ready to lend a helping hand when needed.

    Mr. Clark...
     
    Mr. Clark is one of the best people at the PA. He would give the jacket off his back if you asked for it.  He is just that kind of guy.  
    I enjoy when I run into Mr. Clark because he always has a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help others out. He's truly passionate about teaching and love PA!
    Mr. Clark always lights up a room with positivity and is always there when you need him! 
    Mr. Clark is very cheerful and always willing to help.

    Mrs. Jill Edwards!
     
    Always have been dedicated to meeting and addressing other teachers’ needs.  
     
    Dedication, passion, professionalism. Everything I would hope to be as a teacher
     
    Jill is one of the most hard working, compassionate, and dedicated people I know. She is always willing to go above and beyond to help her students and coworkers.
     
    She is awesome!
     
    She is a wonderful person and teammate. She has always been there for all of the new teachers that struggle with standards set by our administration. She has a great attitude and awesome work ethic.
     
    I could fill up this box alone with the many reasons of why she has helped me become a better person and educator. But let me stick to the cold hard facts. Inside and Outside of PA High she is the go to contact for people to simply get things done. Everything she puts her name on and effort into she does with fidelity. She learns things, internalizes them and then finds a way to communicate it to her peers in a palatable way that her coworkers feel comfortable enough to implement it THAT VERY SAME DAY. A beacon of positivity that can pull anyone out of a funk. Doesn't let her "off" days show even though we are all human!
     
    Jill helps anyone who needs it and is always positive.

  • September Teacher of the Month

    Mrs. Holaway is not only a great teacher, but she is an OUTSTANDING teacher. Her genuine desire to know her students beyond the classroom has allowed her to build lasting relationships with all that cross her threshold. Her students and colleagues love her, because she is fun, supportive and always there when needed. Whenever you are having a bad day, make sure you visit Mrs. Holaway, because she is gifted at making things better. Congratulations!
