Louisiana: The State We're In is Louisiana's only statewide news magazine and is one of the longest-running television programs in the nation. These two students were chosen to be interviewed about their involvement in West Baton Rouge Museum’s free after school enrichment program called Blues After School which just completed its sixth year. Through this program, students meet weekly to learn about Blues culture and history and how to sing and play the Blues, a rich musical tradition in our community. They also enjoy opportunities to perform for the public and go on music industry related field trips. These students are so very talented, and I know you will be proud of how well spoken they were in front of production lights, cameras, and microphones during the filming. They even had a chance to do brief solo performances! Please help us to cheer on our students and your classmates!
