On Tuesday, Ms. Guillory's 7th graders held their own "rebellions" and created their own governments and constitution to introduce Orwell's Animal Farm and the concept of rebelling. There were various different results: a pure democracy, a democracy with co-presidents which was then overthrown in a staged coup, a democracy with a singular president, and finally two separate governments. Overall, students learned the importance of equality and how chaos does not serve the whole! Amazing way to begin the new academic year!
These students wasted no time kicking off the 3rd 9 Weeks by passing an AR test on the first day. Keep reading, keep growing!
