Kindness and leadership are alive and well at BUES! ❤️🖤
Ms. LeBeau went on the hunt for students who truly represent kindness and leadership—not just being nice, but speaking up, reporting concerns, and helping set a positive tone for their peers. We are so proud of our kiddos who lead by example every day! 🌟

Last week students participated in voting for their favorite book as part of the Louisiana Young Readers Choice awards. In Library specials, students have been going over the nominated books. Then voting machines were brought to school so students can experience real live voting. BUES' favorite book was "Balto and Togo: Hero Dogs of Alaska" Stay tuned, in May, we'll find out which book was Louisiana kids favorite and won the LYRC award!

Examples of Excellence – January
In January, we celebrated our Examples of Excellence sponsored by Raising Cane's Port Allen by focusing on the CKH word of the month: Respect
Congratulations to Margan, Jolie, Kayden, and Lillian for consistently showing respect through their words, actions, and the way they treat others every day. These students truly lead by example and help make our school a positive place for everyone.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Cael, who was recognized for demonstrating Responsibility for December.
We are so proud of all of these students and the character they show each day!

❤️🖤✨ National School Counselor Week Shoutout! ✨❤️🖤
This week, we’re celebrating Ms. LeBeau and all the ways she makes our school a better place—starting first thing in the morning. Whether she’s greeting students in the hallway, offering words of encouragement as they walk to class, or supporting them through big feelings and challenges, Ms. LeBeau is simply awesome.
Her positivity, kindness, and constant encouragement help our students feel seen, supported, and ready to learn each day. We are so grateful for the heart she brings to our campus. Thank you for all you do, Ms. LeBeau!
