We made it to our last Friday of Head Start, and it was a truly great day! 🥰 The classroom was buzzing with energy, happy memories, and so much love. We are incredibly proud of our resilient, smart, and kind little learners.
Parents, we also want to thank you for sharing your incredible children with us this year. Seeing them grow, learn, and succeed has been the absolute best part of our year.
Headstart loves Ms. Cortnee!
The Talented Art students made these succulent planters by hand and glazed them as a final project. They were fired in Ms. Robichaux's kiln and are made in the style of British ceramicist, Stella Baggot.

2025-2026 Library Stats
Our awards day is Monday, May 18th. HeadStart and Pre-K are at the West Baton Rouge Community Center on North Jefferson Avenue at 8:00 am and 9:00 am, respectively. Kindergarten - 2nd grade are in the PAE Auditorium. Kindergarten is at 10:30 am, 1st grade is at 12:30pm, and 2nd grade is at 1:30 pm.

Thank you to all of our WBR students and teachers for the tremendous growth in reading over the past few years. We are so proud to be recognized for this outstanding achievement.
Head Start students paid a visit to Pre-K yesterday. They are looking forward to next year and were super excited about the "workout" equipment.
