Junior females!
The city of Port Allen is hosting a Juneteenth Freedom Day Contest. If you are an 11th grade female student at Port Allen High School with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, you may participate. The 1st Place (Miss Juneteenth) will win $500, 2nd Place (Miss Unity) will win $250, and 3rd place (Miss Freedom) will win $175. View the flyer posted on our school google classroom for more information and you may pick up an application from the display rack by Mrs. Jones office. The deadline to submit applications and the essay to Mrs. Jones is April 4, 2025.
Seniors! The Buster Bynum Education Scholaship is available! If your parent is an active employee in public school transportation and you have a 3.0 GPA you should apply! The deadline to apply is April 15th. Pick up an application from the display rack near Mrs. Jones' office!
