Students in Ms. Rivere's STEM class had a challenge to build the tallest tower using only 30 Gumdrops and 50 toothpicks. Students were learning how using triangles in their structures made their towers stronger and kept them from twisting. Learning In Action!
Students who had all "A"s in conduct the for the entire 2nd nine weeks have earned entry to the PBIS Celebration that will take place on Friday, January 16, at 2:00 pm.. There will be a Heroes vs students basketball game where we will have some deputies showing their basketball skills against the students. Concessions will be sold for $5.00 for a nacho and a Powerade.

Ms. Rivere's STEM class had a straw bridge challenge. They had to build a bridge following the criteria of a certain number of straws and a meter of tape. They then tested their bridges by adding heavy washers placed in a cup on their bridges. They then reflected on what they would change if their were to be able to make modifications to their bridges.
