Our "March Madness Trick Word Hoops Challenge" has taken off! These first graders were the first students to get their basketball hoops for reading all of their trick words! 🏀🗑️

Each student in Ms. Smith's class drew a classmate's name. Then they wrote an affirmation to that student. The excitement & feeling of pride that each student felt as they shared their work & were read their affirmation was evident on all their faces. 🫶 We love Capturing Kids' Hearts!

Going to school every day helps students learn skills like how to work as a team, think creatively, and interact with others. Consistent school attendance allows time for practice with teachers and classmates to improve academics and language skills.
