Throughout February, students are learning about historical figures who helped make our world more fair, kind, and inclusive. 📚

🫧🔬 Mrs. Fair and Mrs. Annette’s students became young scientists in STEM! They explored what happens to bubbles in a mixture of soda and food coloring, then tested straws vs. cups to see which made the biggest bubbles. 📚✨ The learning continued with interactive stories and practicing how to place objects in their proper positions. Hands-on learning at its best! 🌟

🌟 Hello Families! 🌟

This is Mrs. Thomas, your School Counselor, with some exciting updates! I’m here to support our students as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Here’s how I help:
💬 Individual counseling
👥 Small group counseling
🏫 Classroom lessons on confidence, self-regulation, friendships, and positive behavior

I also work with families to provide resources when needs arise, such as school uniforms, supplies, and coats.

Our school uses Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH), a relationship-centered, character-based process that helps students feel connected and valued. I also teach CKH lessons to help students build relationship skills, trust, and positive behavior. Families receive a monthly CKH newsletter with our character trait of the month and tips for supporting these skills at home.

Save the Date!
I’m thrilled to announce our Parent Resource Night on March 12! Community partners will share services and supports for students and families. More details coming soon — we would love for you to join us!
