Our first MTSS Reward Event was a hit! Students who met all three requirements in attendance, behavior, and curriculum got to dance the afternoon away at our Silent Disco! We were thrilled to celebrate these students for their hard work and positive choices. What a fun way to kick off our MTSS rewards for the year! ❤️🖤

Breakfast with the Grands brought out all the “grands” in our students’ lives! We had MeMes, Nonnies, Nanas, Grandmas, Grandpas, PawPaws, Uncs, Moms, Dads, and so many more join us for breakfast this morning! 🌟 Our first Examples of Excellence for the 2026–2027 school year! 🌟 We’re excited to celebrate Caroline, Zachary, Ava, and Mica, who were recognized for exemplifying EMPATHY, our Capturing Kids’ Hearts Word of the Month! 🩵🩵 Each student also had the opportunity to recognize a staff member who has made a positive impact on them. They selected Ms. LeBeau, Mrs. Thibodeaux, Mrs. Aucoin, and Ms. Crockett to be honored alongside them! A special thank you to Raising Cane’s Port Allen for their continued sponsorship of our Examples of Excellence luncheon and for helping us celebrate these outstanding students and staff members! What a great way to kick off a new school year, leading with empathy and recognizing excellence in our school community! ❤️🖤

Ms. Franklin’s math class is working hard on building a strong understanding of place value! 🧮💰 Students are using money and place-value disks to model numbers, identify the value of each digit, and make meaningful connections between math and real-world concepts. Great work, mathematicians! 👏🏽📚✨

Ms. Roberts Class is working in the “By the Sea” Unit, so that means we make jellyfish in adaptive art!!
