Some fabulous 5th graders, began our day with morning announcements & Trivia Thursday!!
Today’s Trivia Question: What colors are used to represent Black History Month?
ANSWER: Black History Month uses four colors—black, red, green, and yellow—to symbolize unity and pride.
Black - represents resilience and the people
Red - symbolizes the blood of innocent Black lives shed throughout history
Yellow - conveys optimism, justice, and equality and the gold Africa is rich with
Green - symbolizes Africa's rich greenery and other natural resources

We are beyond proud of Hayden M., Millie C., Grace H., Sarah D., and Serenity H. for their participation in the District IV Honor Choir. Their performance was awesome. Out of 68 participants, BUES had 5. A special thanks to Mr.Maranto.

Miss Mancuso's classes wrote to Love that Dog author, Sharon Creech, and she wrote back! All 4th graders read her book in Module 1 of Wit and Wisdom. She even wrote the letter in the style of Love that Dog.
