BUES is thrilled to host the Louisiana Secretary of State for the Louisiana Young Reader's Choice Awards! Our students will have the exciting opportunity to vote on their favorite book using real voting machines—just like adults do in elections. It's a fantastic way to make reading even more engaging and fun! We can't wait to see their choices!

Get ready to kick off the holiday season in style! 🎄✨ Join us Friday, December 6 at 5:30 PM for the Annual Tree Lighting at St. James Park—it’s going to be a night to remember!
🎶 Entertainment Highlights:
• Performances by the Brusly Upper Elementary School Choir and another talented local artist.
• A show-stopping performance from a professional band.
🎉 Fun for the Whole Family:
• Holiday Street Market filled with unique finds.
• Holiday-themed jumps and face painting for the kids.
• Refreshments sold by the Brusly High Cheerleaders and the Robotics Team.
• A grand arrival from Santa on a big firetruck—and maybe even a surprise visit from the Grinch!
