🎉 Celebrating Growth for Our Students With Disabilities! 🎉
Amid the strong LEAP performance across West Baton Rouge, we are especially proud to recognize the success of our students with disabilities.
In grades 3–8, the percentage of students scoring Mastery or above grew from 9% to 14% — a 5-point increase! When including high school results, our growth continues with a rise from 9% to 11% system-wide.
This progress reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, and support staff. Every gain is a step toward greater equity and achievement for all learners. 💪📚✨

The West Baton Rouge Parish School System free summer meal program for families, providing meal boxes for every child age 18 and under.
The first meal box distribution is on Friday, May 30th.

Our plants are on the struggle bus with this heat and sun but we had a few cuties visit us today to harvest our first BES tomatoes! 🍅 🥰🍅 Future, current and past kittens, raising and growing together. 🌱♥️
