Mrs. Haley Fitzgerald's Kindergarten friends are preparing for their Wit and Wisdom Focusing Question Task. Students are orally rehearsing their sentences through a mix and mingle. Then students are sharing their sentence with the class using a microphone!
BES Food Menu: Week of September 16th
Students in Mrs. May's class are learning about how animals defend themselves from danger. Students built models of an animal and gave them a defense. Students then tested the defense with a "predator" (the comb)!

Due to the forecasted implement weather, we regret to inform you that the First Grade Grandparent Breakfast, originally scheduled for Friday, September 13th will be postponed. The first grade grandparent breakfast will now take place on Wednesday, September 18th at 7:30am. The safety and well-being of our students, staff and families are our top priorities, and we want to ensure everyone can attend this special event comfortably and safely. We look forward to celebrating with our wonderful grandparents soon!

They made lasting memories eating a delicious meal, visiting, taking pictures, writing a book together, and reading it to each other.
